If you're in your late 30s, 40s, or 50s and the version of you in the mirror doesn't quite match the one in your head, you're not imagining it. Bioidentical hormone therapy may help support energy, sleep, mood, and libido.
Every formulation that leaves our lab is one we'd give our own family.
Magnolia Pharmacy is powered by a team of nine compounding pharmacists. Lisa Beam, PharmD, leads our women's health and BHRT programs — and every formulation we dispense is reviewed by a pharmacist against your symptoms, labs, and goals, as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
Your prescriber chooses the delivery form that fits your body and your lifestyle. We make it.
BHRT uses hormones that are molecularly identical to those your body naturally produces — typically estradiol, progesterone, and DHEA. We compound them in customized strengths so your prescriber can tailor your dose, rather than locking you into a one-size-fits-all commercial product.
Commercial hormone products come in fixed doses and one or two delivery forms. Compounded BHRT is made in our lab to match the exact strength, combination, and form (cream, capsule, troche, injectable) your prescriber specifies — so the therapy fits you, not the other way around.
Yes. BHRT is a prescription therapy. We work directly with your provider, or we can help connect you with prescribers in our network who specialize in hormone optimization.
Many patients report better sleep and mood within 2–4 weeks. Hot flashes and energy often improve in 4–8 weeks. Libido and body composition shifts typically take 8–12 weeks. We work with your prescriber to fine-tune your formulation as your body responds.
BHRT is widely used and well-studied, but it is not right for everyone. Your prescriber will review your personal and family history before starting therapy. We use USP 795-compliant compounding standards for every prescription that leaves our lab.
Yes — we ship throughout Texas and to many other states. Local pickup is available at our Magnolia, TX location.
